Going for a walk
Here is most of the Ohring family. We can guess that Mary Ohring took the photo.
The photo was either
- taken with a digital camera and uploaded using a cable or
- taken with a 'regular' camera, the photo was developed into a print, and then the print was scanned using a flat bed scanner, or
- taken with a 'regular' camera, the film was taken to a photo shop and used to produce a digital file

This is called an image map. The areas in the image associated with each link are indicated using area tags within one map tag. Each area tag specifies a shape (rectange, circle or polygon), the coordinates (the pixel values) specifying that shape and the link value. In this particular example, the shapes are rectangles or circles, the links are internal (done with a tags and the name parameter and a # symbol used to indicate an internal link), and small images that correspond (roughly) to the link area are included.
This is Peter Ohring. He is a professor at Purchase College/SUNY, a member of the math/computer science board of study, and coordinator for the New Media major. He is also the director for the summer high school New Media program. Here he is going for a walk with his children.
This is Isaac Ohring. He is enjoying himself on an outing with his parents. (Again, we are assuming that Mary is taking the photo.)
The baby is Rachel Ohring. Are her eyes open or shut? Do you think she likes being carried by her Daddy?
